SUPPORTING WINTER SPORTS NOW!
So far this season, we have approved 80 boys and girls for the Winter sporting season. We would love to get more, deserving kids into teams! Applications can now be made with our trusted referrers. So, if you are a trusted referrer and you have an eligible child or young person who wants to get involved in junior sport, now is the time to put that Every Chance application in! Soccer, Basketball, Netball, Rugby Union, Rugby League, Hockey– Winter sports are great ways for kids and families to get involved, get healthy and get connected!
Make A DIFFERENCE
Every child deserves the chance to play the sport they love with their friends. Every Chance (EC) is helping families who are experiencing financial barriers to give them this chance.
The EC initiative supports kids to get involved in organised sport and physical activities by providing vouchers of up to $250 to help eligible families cover the cost of sports registration fees for junior community sport.
EC helps kids enjoy the positive outcomes of sport including the development of teamwork and resilience, improved mental and physical health, building new friendships and social skills and higher self-esteem.

ACT families experiencing financial barriers have lower levels of participation in sport and recreation. This has a direct impact on their health and wellbeing and on their level of connection to their community.

Trusted Referrers play are integral in connecting kids in the ACT who need support with our program and supporting them to ensure they have the best chance to play.
